Arran Haulage has over 30 years’ experience of goods transportation for both private and commercial customers. We work in partnership with many different companies both on Arran and across the UK to ensure the swift and professional distribution of all goods carried.
The goods we transport range from Timber logs, fertiliser, hazardous and specialist goods, to machinery & palletised goods. With items being dropped off at the Hillington depot, we are better able to sort and load for delivery to the island within 48 hours and where possible delivered out to you the next day.

GROUPAGE
We are able to collect goods throughout Ayrshire & Scotland ranging from fertiliser to galvanised steel, however most of the goods we deliver to the island are dropped off at the Hillington Depot in Glasgow.
TIMBER
Hauling timber off the island on a daily basis, we had two combi liner trailers specifically designed for us to carry timber off Arran, then the trailer can turn in to a curtain-sided trailer for our return journey from the mainland. This allows us to maximise the use of the trailer both out & in, helping to reduce some of our haulage costs!
LARGE LOADS
With our range of trailers, we can bring heavy & bulky goods over to the island ranging from machinery to timber kits. This allows investment in Arran’s Construction Industry and development of local services to flourish.
BUILDING MATERIALS
As the largest supplier of building materials on the island, we are bringing in our own materials to sell on, however one of our largest customers is Jewson and we deliver 2-3 times a week on behalf of the Irvine branch.
HILLINGTON DROP OFF DEPOT
Goods and deliveries can be dropped off and collected at a depot on the mainland in Hillington, Glasgow within easy reach of all the major roads running through Central Scotland.
